Dear Bottarelli Research Member,

I’m sending you this pre-market alert to answer some questions I’ve been getting recently.

I’m also sending this alert to remind you that today is Valentines Day — so be sure to get your wife, husband, girlfriend, or significant other a thoughtful gift to avoid being in the doghouse tonight.

But to start, I’d like to tell you what an elite new group of Charter Members you’ve joined. In addition to the elite group of traders here in the U.S. we’re welcoming members from Switzerland, Portugal, Singapore, and even Kuala Lumpur. I hope you’re as excited about being part of this group as I am.

Onto some recently-asked questions…

Question #1: I’m not receiving e-mail alerts.

If you’re not getting the e-mail alerts, two possible things are happening.

One, your e-mail provider is blocking the e-mails because they think they are spam. All your Bottarelli Research alerts will come from the address: alert@bottarelliresearch.com. So please tell your e-mail provider to let these e-mails pass through!

Two, the e-mail address that you provided is incorrect. I know it sounds silly, but please double-check to see that your e-mail address is indeed exactly correct, including the top-level domain (last part) of “.com” or “.net.” I noticed a handful of bounce-back e-mails when I sent yesterday’s alert, so a quick check wouldn’t hurt.

Question #2: My credit card was charged more than once.

We noticed that some new Charter Members logged more than one order for Bottarelli Reseach. Please don’t worry — we are aware of the situation and we’re proactively working to get your duplicate charges credited back.

Question #3: On weighing Calls and Puts.

When I put out a series of simultaneous call and put trades, I’d like you to buy them on a contract-for-contract basis. In other words, purchase one call for every one put. This way, you’ll be neutral from an option contract standpoint.

Although the dollar value may not exactly line up, I always try my best to issue trades around the same ballpark value. That way, it’s easier for you to buy equal number of contracts without doing an excessive amount of math.

In my view, if one member has a question, I’m sure many other members have the same question as well. So, if any other important questions come up, I’ll be sure to provide the answers to you in alerts similar to this.

I’ll be in touch if any trading actions need to be made. Have a good Valentines Day!

And as always…

Lock and load!

Sincerely,

Bryan Bottarelli
