It’s time we get back to our “Lock and load” trading style, and today’s OIH trade is a perfect opportunity.

This morning, with the OIH down $3.00, we entered the OIH August 145 Puts (OIH TI) for $7.60 per contract. Since that entry, the OIH has continued to get slammed, now trading down $5.56 as I write. This has pushed y our August 145 puts up to $8.90 per contract, good for a 17% gain in a matter of hours.

On the surface, this isn’t a huge winner, but when you consider that these OIH contracts are on the more expensive side (going for $800 a pop), your dollar gain is more important than your percentage gain. Therefore, let’s use this big downside to take your fast money off the table!

PLAY: Sell the OIH August 145 Puts (OIH TI) at or above $8.90, good for the day.

Hold all other positions, and of course:

Lock and load!
