Dear Bottarelli Research Member,

If you keep an eye on the after-market and pre-market activity, then you’ve probably seen the news on Potash of Saskatchewan (POT – NYSE). The stock is blasting to the upside after approving a 3-for-1 stock split and doubling their quarterly dividend. As you know, these are two bullish triggers that I scan for — and this type of upside reaction is a clear illustration of the power of these catalysts. Last evening, for example, the stock was up over $5.00. If, by any chance, you’re still holding your POT May 185 Calls (PVZ EQ) then by all means — take the money off the table now!

I’d also like to use the market’s opening-session strength to take profits on our WFR June 60 Calls (WFR FL). The stock was up over $1.00 in pre-market activity, so I would suspect that the calls will jump to around $3.00 sometime today. But let’s take the cautions approach and set our sell orders now — mark them good for the day — and use any upside strength to take our profits off the table.

PLAY: Sell your WFR June 60 Calls (WFR FL) at or above $2.80, good for the day.

At the same time, I’d also like to use any market strength to add to our protective SPY June 150 Puts (SYH RT).When the timing is right, I’ll let you know. But just be aware that this is something that I plan to do soon. Also keep an eye on Tesoro (TSO – NYSE). They’re getting crushed — down $7.00 as I write — in reaction to earnings, so we could have a possible play in the works.

And finally, I’m putting the finishing touches on the newest small cap alert that will officially go out tomorrow. And I must say, this next recommendation will knock your socks off. This company is a dominant industry player in the Shanxi Province of China. They just recorded a full year revenue increase of 166% and a full year adjusted net income increase of 123%, yet they’re still only trading for $1.73 per share. This one has winner written all over it — so be sure to join small cap for this new recommendation coming on Friday. For more information, click the link blow:
