As you can see from the chart below, shares of Vulcan Materials (VMC – NYSE) have continued their downside action and traded over $3.00 lower in today’s session. This has helped push the VMC September 95 Puts (VMC US) that we entered yesterday for $5.80 move up to $7.00, good for an overnight gainer of 20%.

While this is certainly not a home run, let’s use the market’s early weakness to our advantage and try to get the most out of this position that we can. Therefore, let’s try to lock in this 20% gainer right now. Here’s the play:

PLAY: Sell your VMC September 95 Puts (VMC US) at or above $6.90, good for the day.
