If you’re a broker, today’s move is everything that you asked for, gift-wrapped in the form of a 250-point Dow advance. Make no mistake, a 50-basis point cut is great news for Goldman Sachs Group (GS – NYSE), especially leading into their Thursday earnings announcement. What’s more, a positive earnings surprise from LEH this morning could add further buying speculation in GS leading into Thursday’s earnings call, so lets’ make another aggressive upside call play on GS.

The chart formation is aggressively busting through the 50-day moving average, and this signals the ability to tack on another $10.00 to $15.00 in the near term. Let’s play this upside using October calls now!

PLAY: Buy the GS October 200 Calls (GPY JT) at or under $8.60, good for the day. Place a protective stop limit at $4.00.
