Add BG Calls

A Play For a New 52-Week High

Speaking specifically about market sectors, today’s biggest gainers (without question) have come in the agricultural and farm product group. Names like Potash of Saskatchewan (POT – NYSE), Agrium (AGU – NYSE), Mosaic (MOS – NYSE) and Deere & Co. (DE – NYSE) are all blasting to new 52-week highs — and this sets the table for more upside gains to come. That’s’ why I’d like to establish a new December call position in shares of Bunge (BG – NYSE).

Currently trading for $117.00, BG still has around $5.00 of upside before hitting a new 52-week high, and given the tremendous upside strength in the agricultural sector, I think we’ll soon see these new highs on BG as well. So let’s play this move using December calls.

PLAY: Buy the BG December 120 Calls (BG LD) at or under $3.50, good for the day. Place a protective stop limit at $1.70.
