I’ll feel that a good majority of yesterday’s market downside was fueled by the shocking assassination of former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto — especially since al Qaeda and the Taliban are taking credit for the murder. This once again ignites fear and uncertainty in this troubled section of the world. After all, Ms Bhutto was one of the most outspoken and active members against terrorism, and her efforts will be greatly missed on a worldwide scale. But as we move past this horrible event, I’m hoping that the markets can use yesterday’s 190-point loss to establish a support point and move higher. A look at today’s Dow chart shows that the Blue Chip index is attempting to establish this support point, but nothing is decisive yet.

So in the meantime, let’s go ahead and lock in gains on our DRYS January 75 Calls (DQR AO).As you know, we entered these calls yesterday for $6.40 and they’ve traded as high as $10.50 today, so let’s lock in these fantastic gains now!
