PLAY: Sell your WHR August 75 Puts (WHR TO) at or above $2.60, good for the day.

As the markets open under pressure, the biotech sector is the one pocket of strength, as shares of Imclone Systems (IMCL – NASDAQ) are up 37% after Bristol-Myers bid for the remainder of their shares. On the news, shares of Genzyme (GENZ – NASDAQ) are pushing higher, so maintain your GENZ August 75 Calls (GAA HO) for more upside.

At the same time, the remainder of our three put positions are all moving in the proper direction. Looking specifically at the WHR August 75 Puts (WHR TO) that we entered for $2.15, they’ve opened the day by hitting a high of $2.65, good for a 23% gainer. Therefore, let’s go ahead and lock in these profits now!

PLAY: Sell your WHR August 75 Puts (WHR TO) at or above $2.60, good for the day.

At the same time, maintain your BEN August 100 Puts (BEN TT) and your LAMR August 35 Puts (LJQ TG), as market further downside will push each of these plays into the profit zone as well. Congrats on yet another winner, and as always:
