This volatility is absolutely astounding.

In a matter of 30 minutes, the market has moved from -200 points in the red to +100 points in the green. That’s a 300-point reversal in the first 30 minutes of trading. Insane!

But through it all, we continue to hit winning trades. Gold is soaring this morning, and this has pushed shares of AEM over $3.00 higher in today’s action. As a result, the AEM October 45 Calls (AEM JI) that we entered for $4.50 have now traded as high as $5.30, good for a quick 18% gainer. Now I tell you what. A quick 18% gainer typically doesn’t get me all that excited. But in this market, we must take our money and run. Therefore, let’s go ahead and lock in the profits now!

At the same time, we’ve seen a stunning reversal on the UYG. As I write, the ultra-long position is now trading in the green, which is why I wanted you to maintain this position (as per my comments in your pre-market alert).
