PLAY: Buy the AEM March 60 Calls (AEM CL) at or under $3.30, good for the day. Place a protective stop limit at $2.00 and a pre-determined sniper sell at $5.30.

Gold prices are popping today, yet shares of the top gold names (like ABX and AEM) are trading lower. As you know, we used this morning’s up-tick in ABX to lock in a quick profit, and as I watch how today’s trading has panned out, I think we have another strong opportunity to make a similar play. Therefore, as one final trade, I’d like to add AEM calls going out into March. As you can see from the AEM chart, the stock is hugging to the support line at the 50-day moving average, and this bodes well going into next week.
Let’s play AEM calls anticipating further upward movement going into next week. Here’s the play…
