Over the last hour, the markets have absolutely tanked. The Dow is down close to 300 points as I write, which is the down-move that I expected to see late last week. Nevertheless, we are positioned quite well right now. Long gold, long Treasuries (which handed us a profit earlier this morning), and short the NASDAQ 100 is a very nice place to be. Therefore, let’s use this drop to lock in a quick profit on our QID March 50 Calls (QID CX).
As you know, we entered these Ultra-Short calls yesterday for $4.60, and they’ve now traded as high as $6.40. That’s a 39% gain overnight. Let’s lock it in now!
