It’s a relatively boring trading session, as the entire markets remain fixated on the congressional testimony of America’s top bankers and financial leaders. (Yes, I’m using the word “leaders” very loosely.)
Gold is the one and only major mover in today’s session, and we capitalized on this up-move earlier this morning by locking in profits on our AEM calls. But as the day has progressed, we’ve seen a similar upside move in UltraShort Oil & Gas ProShares (DUG – NYSE), shown below.
As a result, the DUG March 25 Calls (DUG CY) that we entered for $2.40 have traded up to $3.10 today, good for a quick 29% gainer. Let’s take the safe and conservative route and lock in these profits now!
