Lock in Two 20% Gainers Now

PLAY: Sell your DXD July 45 Calls (DXD GS) at market, good for the day.

PLAY: Sell your UNP July 55 Puts (UHP SK) at market, good for the day.

Dear Bottarelli Research Member,

Good morning. Over the last few days, the markets have been extremely choppy. As you know, I expect the major market averages to drift lower, but the extreme price swings without any convincing directional bias now has me thinking that we simply take our money and run.

For example, the DXD July 45 Calls (DXD GS) that we entered for $3.40 have traded as high as $4.10 today. That’s good for a 20.58% gainer. Let’s lock that in now.

PLAY: Sell your DXD July 45 Calls (DXD GS) at market, good for the day.

Also, the UNP July 55 Puts (UHP SK) that we entered for $4.49 have hit a high today of $5.40, good for another 20.26% gainer. Let’s lock in those profits as well.

PLAY: Sell your UNP July 55 Puts (UHP SK) at market, good for the day.

This leaves us holding the FLR July 50 Puts (FLR SJ) and the GDX July 40 Calls (GDX GN). I’ll follow up on these plays — and any new trades — as the day progresses.
