Good morning (or early afternoon). Thus far, the major market averages haven’t made a significant move to the upside or the downside, which is odd considering that today’s U.S. non-farm payrolls number was reported. Typically, this number offers a launching pad for the markets in one direction. Perhaps Wall Street is becoming numb to job losses each month?

At any rate, let’s use today’s slight up-tick to lock in profits on our DO September 86.25 Calls (DOH ID).As expected, DO is making a nice bounce off the 50-day moving average, which has pushed our calls from $2.90 up to $3.50. Lock in these gains now!

In terms of our other plays, our AAPL September 170 Calls (APV IN) have just broken into profitability, while our ESI September 105 Calls (ESI IA) and BEN September 95 Puts (BEN US) are flirting with breaking even. Hold all positions. Plus, as a protective measure, also maintain your SDS September 45 Calls (SSH IS). And as always…
