Good morning. As we open a new trading week, the combination of gold and oil have both continued their upward push. As you know, the intra-day moves in both sectors have been extremely volatile, and that’s the reason why we’re holding gold puts and oil calls.
From a trading perspective, the trick is to capitalize on these intra-day price swings by locking in profits as the plays move in your direction. In that spirit, I’d like to lock in gains on our ATPG October 17.50 Calls (HKU JW).
As you know, we entered these calls late last week for $1.85. As I write this morning, shares of ATPG are popping at the open, pushing your calls up to our pre-determined sniper sell price at $2.50. If you haven’t already done so, lock in your gains now!
PLAY: Sell your ATPG October 17.50 Calls (HKU JW) at market, good for the day.
At the same time, let’s hold our GG October 42.50 Puts (GAG VV) for just a little bit longer, just to see if a reversal can put us back on track.
