Two New Plays
Add ICE and HAL Calls
PLAY: Buy the ICE November 100 Calls (IHH KT) at or under $5.30, good for the day. Place a protective stop limit at $2.90 and a pre-determined sniper sell at $7.60.
PLAY: Buy the HAL November 30 Calls (HZL KF) at or under $1.10, good for the day. Place a protective stop limit at $0.60 and a pre-determined sniper sell at $2.00.

For most of the morning, the Dow has flirted with the magical 10,000 level. If we see an upside breakout, the gains could begin to pile up fast. Since we’re currently positioned for a pullback (using our PRU puts), I’d like to re-establish two upside call positions just in case we see the upside euphoria extend itself even further. After a comprehensive market scan, the I think the following two plays offer us the best opportunity for extended upside…
The first play is Intercontinental Exchange (ICE – NYSE). As you can see below, the Internet-based global electronic marketplace is establishing a nice floor for a continued upside move. Let’s play this momentum using November calls.

Also on the move is oil and gas giant Halliburton (HAL – NYSE). Nearly all of the oil plays that I follow are hitting new 52-week highs, and from the looks of things, HAL will be soon to follow. Let’s get positioned to profit off this move using the very well-priced November calls.
