Like I mentioned this morning, the intra-day dips and rips we’re now seeing are truly off the charts. One minute, we’re up 100 points. Then, you run to the bathroom and fill up your coffee mug, and the next thing you know we’re down 100 points. With volatility like this, we have no choice but to always be covered on both sides of the market. Therefore, after locking in a quick 25% gainer on our protective SDS play, let’s re-establish a new ultra-short position by adding November calls on Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ – NYSE).
As you know, we’ve done well playing the FAZ before. Due to the intense levels of volatility in the financial sector, the FAZ is a 3x leveraged asset that moves at an unimaginable rate. Let’s add November calls to our ledger to capitalize on further weakness in the financial sector – and remain protected at the same time.
PLAY: Buy the FAZ November 20 Calls (FAY KT) at or under $2.00 (or best price), good for the day. Place a protective stop limit at $1.20 and a pre-determined sniper sell at $3.90.
