PLAY: Buy the APKT November 42.50 Calls (O:APKT 11K42.50) and the APKT November 40 Puts (O:APKT 11W40.00) at market, good for the day. Do not place a sniper sell or stop limit at this time.

Dear Bottarelli Research Member,

As your final earnings play (at least for right now, anyway), let’s make our move into Acme Packet (APKT – NASDAQ). In direct contrast to PII, APKT has really gotten creamed lately, moving down to a nice support level at $40 leading into earnings. If the bulls wanted a spot to jump back into APKT and a trigger catalyst to do so, this would be it. Therefore, let’s get positioned for their October 20th earnings (after the close) right now. As always, if we see profits before the event, we’ll certainly consider taking them. But for now, let’s get positioned for any pre-earnings move.
