PLAY: Buy the AGU March 65 Calls (O:AGU 10C65.00) at or under $2.55, good for the day. Place a protective stop limit at $1.70 and a pre-determined sniper sell at $3.50.

As we approach the final 20 minutes of trading, we have two opportunities that warrant immediate attention.
First is Amazon.com (AMZN – NASDAQ), which after a long quiet period has decided today to breakout in a big way. As momentum traders find their way back into AMZN, we could easily see a pop to $131.00 in the blink of an eye. Going forward, I’d like to use any pullback as an entry opportunity. For now, wait for my signal.
In the meantime, we have an equally strong indication on fertilizer giant Agrium (AGU – NYSE). As I mentioned this morning, we’re going into a seasonally strong period for the agriculture sector, which could be enough to push AGU higher. Let’s get positioned in March calls for a quick pop.
