The last time Larry Kudlow cried “drill baby, drill” on CNBC, I got the sense that President Obama was listening. You see, with China buying up all of the world’s oil, it’s becoming clear that the U.S. needs to get their act together and formulate a back-up plan. I’m sure that’s what prompted President Obama’s decision to open portions of the Gulf and offshore regions from Delaware to the Carolinas for deepwater oil drilling. As you probably know, drilling in these areas has been banned for over two decades. But now, this might all change. This decision could open the door for new oil exploration, which paints a very bullish picture for oil drillers like Transocean (RIG – NYSE). Therefore, hold your RIG April 85 Calls (O:RIG 10D85.00) for more upside.
At the same time, let’s lock in profits on our GMCR April 95 Calls (O:GMCR 10D95.00). As you know, this is another successful “add onto” play, which we’re holding for an average cost of $2.75. As I write, these calls just hit a high of $3.60, good for a nice 30% gainer. Lock in these profits now!
